Velar Fricative. Huh? That's the term for all those chhhhh, hcghhhh, coughing-up-hairball sounds one associates with the Dutch and German languages. (Check it out on Wikipedia.) Linda, who speaks some German, tried valiantly to pick up a little Dutch while visiting the Netherlands with Chase and Christina this summer. German and Dutch are NOT the same. All those G's! Gckhhhhhood Gckhhhhrief! When Peter and Chase are together again, we expect(orate) a ferocious fricative fight.
