Holland

With Chris being well tended by his friend Tom Scharbach, Linda and Christina flew to Europe to meet Chase at the conclusion in August 2007 of his Dutch speaking mission to Holland for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We spent a grand 10 days with Chase as our translator touring The Land and meeting the people he'd gotten to know and love over the last two years. We tried the Dutch "treat" of herring from the ubiquitous fish vendors, visited the inside of a working windmill, and bought some hand carved Dutch bridal wooden shoes which will make an appearance of some sort at Christina's wedding in June.
